So for my commercial I’m thinking of choosing pictures and videos of myself and things I like. I might do a couple pictures of myself and my family, just as an introduction. Then I think I might do a couple pictures of my pets, and plants. Additionally I’ll add videos and pictures of things I like, including hobbies, and things I think just look cool. I’ll add a few pics of my friends as well, and whatever else I think represents me. Right now I’m brainstorming. Like, what says “This is SO Mercedes?” I think a few things that come to mind whenever people think of me are; otters, curly hair, laughter, neutral tones, volleyball, light pink, and sweatpants. I have to find a way to incorporate all of that in my commercial. For the audio, I might choose my favorite song at the moment. Or maybe I can do a couple different songs. Right now, my favorite song is “Issues/Hold On” by Teyana Taylor. I just personally relate to it, so it just satisfies my soul whenever I listen to it. Depending on how many of each (pictures and videos), I may do a large amount of them, just so it’s interesting and have a good amount of content. I want to make my commercial interesting. I think I’m just going to make an album of all the pictures and videos that I want to use. And a playlist of potential songs I’d use in my commercial as well. I’m also going to ask a couple people in my friend group for things that they think of when they hear my name or think about me. And based off what they say, I’ll add more to my initial group of pictures and videos. This is kind of overwhelming because I’m not someone that likes to talk about myself too much, let alone make a commercial of myself. So this is new for me, but I’m pretty excited to be out of my comfort zone! I think this will be a fun project. I’m also excited to see me classmates’ commercials as well. We’ll see how this goes!!
